About me
I am into everything, it seems! I have a voracious appetite for many forms of art. I love guitar, songwriting, photography, painting, model trains, railroad model building, history, preservation and many forms of art and more. First and foremost I am a guitarist who has taught many students over the decades, and performed in a vast array of settings and I am going to be performing and traveling more. A performance-highlight for me was performing with Muriel Anderson in November 2014 and in 2015! Another highlight for me was a guitar workshop I gave on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Window Rock AZ in April of 2015.
My vision problem keeps me from traveling as much as I would like. I just have not found a team or person to help me make this happen on a large scale. To book me for a local event please contact me at gjourney1@yahoo.com. I would love to play for you!
